Dhanwantari Diwas and Diwali Mela

As a pre-diwali celebration, students of Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College, Karnal organized Dhanwantari Pujan and Diwali Mela on the auspicious day of Dhanteras i.e. Dhanwantari Trayodashi on 5^th November 2018.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Himanshu Madaan, Dean (Academics) and guests including faculty & staff were welcomed by Dr. Tirthankar Deb, President, Literature, Magazine & cultural society, KCGMC. The students performed cultural dance (Ganesh Vandana) and Nukkar- Natak against the Menace of addiction. The inaugural programme was followed by opening of food and games stalls managed by students.

Few social service stalls by NGOs like Saksham, Jagruk Nasha-Mukti Abhiyan, and Shradanand Anathalay were also displayed.
